With a 30 year tennis playing and coaching career, culminating with a top 40 national ranking and playing D1 at the #1 spot, Andrew was convinced to try pickleball on a whim 4 years ago. He was instantly hooked and immediately began a pursuit of competition and knowledge that took him across the country. He loves every minute of playing and teaching, and the most rewarding part is seeing his students put lessons, tips, and tricks into their gameplay. He competes in tournaments when he can fit them into his busy schedule raising 3 kids with their own athletic aspirations. He is Selkirk/PCI certified and plays at the 5.0+ level.

I have been playing golf all my life, beginning with the First Tee program, which taught me that golf is more than a sport—it's a way to carry yourself, conduct business, and much more. I have competed at many levels, including SCPGA, AJGA, mini tours like the Pepsi Tour, and college golf, experiencing the game in various settings. " Ina was terrific for me. Before Ina my handicap was 30 plus or minus 5. After a couple of lessons, and a few weeks of playing and adhering to Ina’s easily applied weight distribution and maintaining spine position, I am happy to say golf is much more enjoyable. My handicap dropped to 20 plus or minus 5 now. I shot an 86 last week on a par 72 course which is my career best. Before Ina when topping or chunking shots I had no idea what I did wrong. Now when I occasionally chunk a shot I know why it occurred. It is easily corrected by reverting back to what Ina taught in those two lessons. Now my goal is to shoot for a 10-15 handicap. I can’t believe how much she has made this game so much more enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong I still get frustrated at times - but I am much more consistent and playing better than ever before. Next up will be a couple of lessons on chipping where my game is the most inconsistent at present. No matter what your level is I strongly recommend Ina for anybody desiring improvement and finishing a round with much more satisfaction.

•About me (golf) My name is Noel Sims. I am a professional golfer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I am 28-years old and have been playing the game since I could walk. I have been competing in golf tournaments from ages 3-current and have played in some elite events as a junior golfer, amateur golfer and professional golfer. While finishing my junior career, I was ranked the #1 African-American in the nation and top 240 in the world on the JGS rankings. I played 1-year at South Mountain Community College where I was apart of a NJCAA National Championship team in 2016 and finished my collegiate career at Alabama State from years 2017-2021 (redshirt year at SMCC and a Covid-19 year at ASU). I was a consistent starting at both programs and have a lot experience of playing different styles of golf. I turned professional in 2021 and have made 2/2 cuts at the 2021 Outlaw Tour Wigwam Red Classic and the 2023 Arizona Open (haven’t played much professional due to finishing my Master’s Degree while also working after my collegiate career). • About me (education) I have an extensive passion for helping others reach their true potential. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My passion for others goes farther than just helping others in a room, but also outdoors! I find enjoyment in seeing others progress and passing my knowledge to others when it comes to golf and also recommendations with life.

I teach at Papago golf course which is also the home Arizona State University golf teams. Papago Opened in September of 1963 and Hosted the 1971 USGA Public Links Championship with my father Arch as the first Head Professional. Watching him teach as I was growing up gave me the fundamentals for teaching philosophy that has carried with me throughout my entire career. I specialize in Private one-on-one lessons covering the entire spectrum of the game, but also will do group lessons and clinics for the short game only.
