Though injuries have sidelined my personal play, I’ve dedicated myself to coaching, helping numerous players improve their skills and achieve significant progress. Hi! I'm a passionate soccer coach with over 16 years of playing experience and 3 years of coaching experience. I've been in love with "the beautiful game" since I was 5 years old, and that passion still fuels me today. I currently coach at CCV and continue to play in competitive 11v11 recreational league in Tempe. My goal is simple: to help you become a better player technically, mentally, and physically. Whether you're just starting out, want to improve specific skills, or are preparing for competitive play, I’ll work with your unique goals to create a personalized training plan that gets results. I believe in developing well-rounded players and building confidence both on and off the field. I’m fluent in Spanish, which allows me to connect with and coach players from diverse backgrounds. "Our two boys were looking to raise their skill level and Coach Roger helped with that by making our sessions fun and challenging. Their training time was maximized with tons of touches on the ball. They were given homework and did it all which gave them goals to work toward during the summer. Our oldest son even made a club soccer team for the first time after training with Coach Roger. Before we began training with Roger our younger son had difficulty putting the ball in the net even though he had a lot of chances. Coach Roger helped him with mental aspects of the game and he was able to start scoring goals. We would definitely recommend Coach Roger to anyone looking to improve their soccer game.

"I joined a local music shop’s program where they took adults and put them into a band. I wouldn’t have been able to play any of the gigs let alone get through practice without help from Tyler. He made it easy to understand song structure and some finger exercises to help me get better control when holding chords.

I have an associate degree in Golf Course Management and a Masters in Public Administration. I worked on cruise lines like the Caribbean, Carnival Cruises, etc, for 10 years as a Golf Professional. The cruises were in Europe, the Caribbean, the US, and Hawaii. I taught lessons on sea days, set up tee times in port, and played with passengers. After the cruise lines, I worked at golf courses, mainly teaching. I enjoy teaching beginners to advanced players. I will accommodate individuals if they are more comfortable learning in groups. I'm experienced in using the V1 system for video analysis of the swing.

Hi, I’m Rian Weston-Dodds, I’ve been playing for 6 years now coaching for about 3. I have a 5.0 DUPR rating and have coached at various locations across the valley including Picklemall, Life Time, the Picklr, and many public and private courts. PPR certified. I specialize in helping intermediate players improve with strategy and technique, but can also help beginner players get a handle on the game. I look forward to working with you on the court! At the moment, the Mountainside Fitness on Frank Lloyd Wright is the easiest way to get a an indoor court during the summer, free for members and only $10 for non members. It is on a basketball court but it works fine for practice. Otherwise, The Orchard Indoor Pickleball Private Event Venue by Talking Stick resort is also a good option for a rentable, authentic indoor court. But it does cost $40 for an hour. Outdoors, public parks are usually not busy midday. But the Oasis Community Church has outdoor courts for rent and they only ask for 10% of the lesson fee. If you have your own private, court let me know.
