In keeping with the philosophy of Bobby Jones, the first person to capture all of golf’s major championships as an amateur, I believe that dedication and proper technique are essential for success in any endeavor. When you start playing competitivley you find that simply participating is not enough; one must strive to master the fundamentals and execute them correctly to fully appreciate and excel at the game of golf & life. Over the years I have dedicated tens of thousands of hours to the practice and implementation of the mechanics in the golf swing. This has granted me unique insights into the mental and technical aspects of playing well. I encourage a mindset of commitment and continuous improvement for myself and my students alike, regardless of one’s skill level.

Former D1 and D3 tennis player at Ball State University with a 12 UTR. One of my favorite moments in my career was making the Semifinals of the NCAA D3 Singles Championship in Orlando during my freshman year at Pacific University (Oregon). Tennis has been my passion since day one and it’s shaped who I am. Now I coach because I love helping others level up and see real improvement. Whether it’s fixing the little things or building confidence, I’m all about making the game more fun, competitive, and rewarding for every player I work with.
"Hey, Mason's lesson was quite good, I think? He's definitely good at explaining things, and I noticed some useful tips during our time. Though, I still feel there's room for sharpening my technique, but I’m feeling optimistic about the next lesson. Still, it’d be great if some specific areas could be a bit more polished. But hey, I’d mention you should try Mason if you're looking for a steady, no-fuss coach.

I have been playing tennis for over twenty years. This is includes competing in junior tournaments, playing in high school and junior college. I’ve teaching for almost fifteen years. I've been golfing since the age of 12. I’ve faced many challenges in this sport and grown to overcome them. Following my college years, I worked at Maderas Golf while pursuing my studies in hygiene school. My passion for the game grew as I played at the Maderas and I’ve been fortunate to frequently practice using a full swing simulator. My goal is to continue to improve throughout my life. I look forward to meeting great people ready to learn and helping to improve their own game.
"Jacob was very patient with me.
