Christina Wang I began my musical journey at the age of 5 with classical piano, and since high school, I have expanded my skills to include singing, dancing, and theater. I hold a graduate degree in music from the University of California, Berkeley, and have had the privilege of participating in various musical ensembles—ranging from university choir and orchestra to chamber choirs and small ensembles. With over 23 years of teaching experience, I have had the honor of guiding students through their own musical paths. As a teacher, I pride myself on being organized, patient, encouraging, and fun. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to tailor my approach to each student's unique needs. The moment when a student experiences that breakthrough and everything "clicks" is what fuels my passion for teaching. I played varsity baseball throughout high school, and am actively a team manager for UCLA Baseball, meaning I've been exposed to all levels of the game. I have worked with kids ranging from 5 to 12 coaching at SF Giants Youth Baseball Camp, and I have given lessons before as well. I specialize in pitching, no matter the level, whether it be learning the basics when transitioning from coach pitch to kid pitch, or refining mechanics and developing velocity off the mound for older kids.

I also worked as a teaching assistant at an after-school program in an elementary school, where I helped with art enrichment for 3rd–5th grade students. Additionally, I earned a Developing Your Musicianship certificate from Berklee College of Music. In my lessons, you will learn the fundamentals of music theory, including intervals, chords, melody, rhythm, and scales. You can also learn essential musical skills such as sight-singing and ear training if needed.
