With two decades dedicated to indoor and beach volleyball, my goal is to positively impact the lives of children and adults through volleyball. Focus is on being a positive role model while developing strong mechanics, game strategy, and sportsmanship. I cultivate a positive environment where athletes refine skills and build confidence. Fueled from a life long passion for racquet sports including playing for UC Irvine tennis 1986-1990, I became a dedicated pickleball enthusiast in January 2021. I started at over 190 lbs and currently am at 160 lbs and in the best shape I have been for the last 20+ years, so I know the benefits of pickleball. Not to mention the wide array of good friends I have made over the years. I currently compete at the Senior Pro level and my DUPR rating is over 5.0 in both singles and doubles. I work with all levels of pickleball players and have coached students now competing at the professional level. I am an IPTPA certified instructor and my teaching philosophy is not just about how to swing the paddle, but teaching the art of pickleball - strategy, spins, footwork, and how to get the most out of your game.

Bill is patient and has a gift for explaining body mechanics in memorable ways that immediately click. We worked on my backhand returns, drives, and dinks. I realized I had been doing many of the fundamentals incorrectly, and Bill made each correction easy to understand and apply. By the end of the lesson, I was finally starting to develop the feel for a proper backhand drive after struggling with it for four years. I only wish I had taken a lesson with Bill three or four years ago. It would have saved me years of frustration and bad habits. I look forward to my next lesson and feel more confident heading into my next tournament. I highly recommend Bill to anyone who wants to improve their game.

My journey began as a Howard University women’s golf team graduate, where I developed a deep passion for the sport. Throughout my career, I've worked for esteemed companies such as Pebble Beach Golf Resorts, Callaway Golf, and The First Tee. Under the mentorship of top instructors in the industry, I've accumulated over 3000 hours of teaching experience. Through my non profit, Grasp Girls With Golf, I aim to inspire the next generation of female golfers and instill in them the confidence and skills to succeed both on and off the course.

Hello! As the Tournament Director and President of The World Pickleball Association LLC, I bring a wealth of experience to the court. With multiple pro certifications, including being a certified pickleball coach with both PPR and IPTPA, I have been teaching and refining players' skills for years. His approach centers on biomechanics and the body-swing connection, focusing on rhythm, feel, and flow to help players fully enjoy the game. Outside of golf, Travis and his wife Erin, along with their three children, Courtlynn, Jordy, and Bodie, enjoy an active lifestyle filled with sports, the beach, mountains, and travel adventures from their home in Aliso Viejo.
