As a two-time Hall of Fame inductee, three-time NFCA Division I All-American, and 2005 Women's College World Series participant (DePaul University), I've played and coached at many levels. As a former PE teacher, I've seen how important a strong foundation is for young athletes. I love helping players develop fundamental skills, build confidence, and create a lasting love for the game. Hi, My name is Kate. With over 25 years of experience, I have traveled and competed in professional tournaments all over the world. Throughout my career, I achieved a USTA National Ranking of #6, reached quarterfinal of the KPSF Open, earned an ITF ranking of 170, and a WTA ranking of 490. A full scholarship to the NCAA Division 1 university allowed me to continue my competitive career, where I achieved an ITA singles ranking of #18 in the nation and was honored as an Athlete of the Year.

I am an educator specializing in grades 6-8 mathematics, with experience teaching both math and English across multiple grade levels. I foster an inclusive, student-centered classroom where collaboration, critical thinking, and real-world connections drive learning. I work with diverse learners, including English Learners and students with IEPs, using differentiated instruction to help every student build confidence and achieve long-term academic success.

I am biochemistry student at UC Davis who just recently transferred from Chabot College in Hayward, CA. At Chabot College I was a tutor for the Chemistry Club for 2 years and helped in both Biology and Chemistry Courses. Being apart of the Chemistry Club we often did outreach program to primary schools in the surrounding area to also get younger students into the sciences.
