About my tennis style and teaching- you will learn any style you like that fits your game, using spin and slices as well as being eclectic and /or conventional ... and how to develop a technically sound serve ( the serve in tennis is one of or the most important elements if you like to be very competitive). ♣ Teaching philosophy is-- (based around student and teacher-centered approach): I do not like to talk much during the session( I don't over/or under coach but I give you what you need to be ) Despite-- I emphasize a lot on the technique and repetitions so you can improve in the right way, while having fun. -- and after finishing the lessons, the students will have an idea on what they need to do to become good recreational players, or advanced or professional players, and what their strengths and weaknesses are... from which they will be able to diagnose their own game. ♣ Personal --I'm also multilingual-- graduate student (I have a minor, BA, MA---,(and PhD is my next goal. * I taught tennis in high school as well - private school - and all my students said that I'm the best coach they have ever had . ♣I love fitness, organic food, and my favorite sport is gymnastics which is the only complete sport and most difficult to master. I coached a Nike Golf Camp for a number of years at Tilden Park Golf Course where I focused on younger golfers. I've been the head coach at a number of successful high schools throughout the area. I have also taught adults, family, and friends. I offer a unique perspective and my first and most important rule is that we're having fun. If we're not having fun we are in the wrong sport. But with patience and a lot of practice I can promise that your golf game will improve and after hitting a few solid shots you'll become addicted to the game. I’m very new to golf, and he gave me several useful drills and visual metaphors that made certain concepts click for me, especially his “paintbrush” cue for brushing the grass.
