Will began competing in state and regional tournaments at 14, earning MVP honors in high school and holding the #1 singles spot for three years. He went on to play both singles and doubles for Allegheny College, continuing to sharpen his competitive edge. Recently relocated from Seattle to San Diego, Will is excited to share his passion for tennis with players of all levels. Off the court, he works in marketing, professional photography, and music production as a DJ.

With over five years of experience teaching beginner and intermediate surfers, I bring a holistic and deeply personal approach to every lesson. My teaching is rooted in mindfulness, breathwork, and the belief that surfing is not just a sport—it’s a pathway to growth, presence, and self-discovery. I’m passionate about helping others find confidence in the water, connection with the ocean, and a deeper understanding of themselves through surfing. For me, the lessons we learn on the board mirror the challenges and triumphs of everyday life, and I’m honored to guide others on that journey.

I’ve tutored mathematics for many years, making it my main job for 2 of those years at a company called MeriEducation even doing SAT and ACT math tutoring! I’ve tutored everything from elementary mathematics up to calculus and it has been a passion of mine to keep giving students the insight for mathematics that takes away the anxiety and makes student life a little easier.

I began playing golf after working at a summer camp in the late 90’s. I signed up to coach basketball, but the Bulls were in the Finals again, so by the time I got to camp, the only sport left to coach was golf, and I had zero playing or coaching experience in that sport. I had been an athlete all my life and a coach for almost a decade by that point, so I figured, “How hard can it be?” I found out quickly it was very hard, but also challenging in a way that kept me completely compelled to learn. I spent that summer learning the game from 10 year olds. We would drive over to the local course in rural Pennsylvania nearest the camp in the late afternoon, the sun getting low as we’re out there laughing and having a blast, usually at my expense. I vividly remember my mind being blown at the concept of hitting down, to make the ball go up. Fascinating! I got hooked, came home after camp, jumped into any and everything golf; Tiger Woods, Dave Pelz, Rick Smith, David Ledbetter, Golf Channel, etc., etc. I got pretty good quickly, played all over the place, signed up to attend a golf instructor school in 2002 and the rest is history. I’ve given thousands of lessons coast to coast, including Maui, Scottsdale, NYC, San Diego and even Tijuana. I have a deep knowledge of the game and swing mechanics, combined with a sincere passion to help anyone of any ability learn the game I have come to love so much. Through my soccer journey I was able to achieve being selected for national level teams, as well as reach professional soccer with Xolos de Tijuana.

As a former competitive player, I understand what it takes to grow on the court. My coaching style is personalized, encouraging, and detail-oriented, designed to help each student elevate their game and ultimately enjoy the game that I love.

I bring a championship mindset and years of on-court experience to every athlete I train. As a former collegiate standout and professional player, I was a 2x PCAC Player of the Year, 2x All-State performer, and helped lead Southwestern College to a state-best 50–6 record before earning a scholarship to Cal Baptist. There, I helped capture a PacWest Championship and an NCAA Tournament berth. After competing professionally in Colombia and earning my Master’s in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific, I began my coaching career at Southwestern College. During my time there, I helped lead the program to three PCAC Championships, was named PCAC Coach of the Year in 2020, and coached 40 All-Conference players, with over 30 earning scholarships to four-year universities—including multiple Division I and professional athletes. Now, I use that same drive and attention to detail to help players and clients elevate their game, build confidence, and unlock their full potential—both physically and mentally.

I have been singing for 18 years and I have experience in singing, music theory, songwriting, music production, live recording, mixing/mastering, and more! My teaching style can best be described as focusing on specific skills that you want to learn and applying that in practice. My teaching philosophy is that by practicing little by little, that consistency will pay off. I look forward to working with you!
