As General Manager of Cantolao Soccer Academy in Peru from 2015 to 2023, he transformed a youth academy into a top-flight professional club, overseeing player development philosophies, coaching staff selection, and the recruitment of ambitious young talents. He discovered and guided future international players like Pedro Aquino and Bryan Reyna from ages 15–16, conducting thorough evaluations of their physical, technical, tactical, mental, and personal attributes to nurture their growth from prospects to professionals. In his roles as a First Team Scout for South América at San Jose Earthquakes (since 2025) and a First Team Scout at Inter Miami (2021–2025), Raúl has evaluated top adults players and youth players in U-20 and U-17 international tournaments across South America, producing detailed reports on technique, positioning, and mental resilience. Raised in a family steeped in martial arts, I was first introduced to Kung Fu by my uncle, a student of the legendary "Black Dragon" Ron Van Clief, at the age of 11. My passion for martial arts was reignited under the tutelage of Tracy Tyler, a maestro with an impressive 49 years of experience, and a student of Moses Powell. My journey took me to City Wing Tsun, where I dedicated three years, earning a black shirt in Wing Tsun. Eventually, I found Sifu Zig Short, delving into the William Cheung lineage with an intense focus on the Wooden dummy technique. Today, I carry these diverse experiences into my coaching, enriching the boxing practice of my students.

I specialize mainly as an infield coach and hitting coach, I have had some experience with high-performance college it is an honor for me to teach children about this beautiful sport

I excelled in high school varsity soccer and was honored to represent Florida on the ODP State Team and Region 3 Team on a national scale. My hard work paid off when I was recruited to play NCAA Division 1 soccer, further sharpening my competitive edge. Soon after, with the hunger for more, I made the decision to move to Europe first arriving and playing in France, Denmark and then finally; Spain. I continued to live and play professionally in Spain for 3 years until moving back to Florida to continue my career both as a high level player and coach.
