My name is Matheo Mateos, and I am a Olympic swimmer and former Division 1 Student Athlete. I have represented my country at the international level around the world and have competed in major events. Swimming has been a big part of my life the past 20 years and I enjoy sharing my experience with others. I work with students of all levels, from children or adults who want to learn how to swim, to competitive swimmers who want to improve their performance.

I just graduated from UNF and played on the beach volleyball team. I was pair 3 all year long and got moved up to pair 2. Played against the best programs in the nation and beat some of them (Stanford, Long Beach, and USC). I can bring experience from the highest competition in the NCAA and give great advice. Former highschool, college, and semi pro basketball player with a passion teaching the game. Through years of playing and self development, I created my own drills and training methods to help players improve their skills and confidence I specialize in shooting, ball handling, passing, defense, athletic development and post play. I hold a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with concentrations in Health Studies, Nutrition Studies, and Health Communication, and I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in Nutrition. I am passionate about helping individuals build realistic nutrition habits that fit their lifestyle and support long-term health. My coaching style is supportive, personalized, and focused on practical, evidence-based solutions for lasting behavior change.

I love the game. I’ve been playing basketball since I was nine years old so I will be good coach cause I still play basketball today. My job is to teach and preach.

Before stepping into this role, Wilson served as the Wide Receivers Coach at Edward Waters University, where his strategic vision and commitment to athlete development helped elevate the performance of his players both on and off the field. Wilson began his coaching career at Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, playing a pivotal role in revitalizing the program. As Offensive Coordinator, Quarterbacks Coach, and Wide Receivers Coach, he helped lead the team to its first winning season in over a decade and its first district championship in 20 years. His ability to develop athletes resulted in multiple players earning post-season honors. He continued this success at Oakleaf High School in similar roles, maintaining his track record of mentoring players to achieve high performance and recognition. Before transitioning into coaching, Wilson had a distinguished nine-year professional career in the Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League. In Jacksonville, he became a fan favorite as a key player for the Jacksonville Sharks, contributing to three Arena League championships. Over his career, he recorded 413 receptions, 5,347 yards, and 116 touchdowns, earning All-League honors five times. He currently holds the National Arena League records for most career catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns. Wilson was a four-year starter at Tennessee State University from 2009 to 2013, where he played a crucial role in securing a Black College National Championship and an FCS playoff berth. A team captain, he was also honored with the National Football Foundation Scholar- Athlete Award for his achievements on and off the field. A Nashville native, Wilson was a three-sport letterman in football, basketball, and track at Pope John Paul II High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Sport Science from Tennessee State University.
