I am a graduate of Georgia Tech with my bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and I am a graduate of Strayer Univeraity with my Master’s degree in Education. I enjoy helping students experience the ah-ha moment where they begin to understand. I am a patient teacher who will allow you to think and solve problems in different ways. I enjoy the creativity of math and seek to help others enjoy Math also. . I look forward to helping you succeed!

Jewel Ausberry, affectionately known as MerJewel, is the heart and soul of MerJewel Swim Academy. With over 35 years of teaching experience, Jewel brings a unique blend of expertise, patience, and a natural ability to connect with students of all ages. Her lifelong passion for swimming began early as a high school swim team member for four years, and she later achieved lifeguard certification in her senior year. Jewel’s experience as an educator enhances her swim instruction, making her lessons engaging, effective, and tailored to each student’s needs. Known for her great sense of humor, Jewel creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere where swimmers feel confident and excited to learn. Whether working with babies, children, or adults, Jewel’s approach combines water safety, technical skill development, and lots of laughter to make every lesson a memorable experience.

Hi! My names Ava, and I recently graduated from Auburn University where I played D1 tennis for the women’s tennis team. I’ve played pickleball for a few years and tennis for over 15. I believe my experience in both can help students get to the next level—physically and mentally.

I live in Stockbridge, GA, in the Eagles Landing area. I’ve hosted golf clinics at several golf courses and driving ranges throughout the Atlanta Metro region. My clinics are fun, inclusive, and educational. Whether it’s mastering the basics, improving your short game, or just feeling more confident stepping onto the course, I focus on creating a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere for all participants. When I’m not coaching I’m competing in national tournaments. I’m a 3x Nationals medalist. Most recently taking Gold in Men’s doubles and Silver in MXD. I’m a PPR Certified pickleball coach with a DUPR playing rating of 4.0. Recently, I had the thrill of winning a 5.0 doubles tournament and competing in a senior Pro doubles event. My passion for the game drives me to help others improve their skills while enjoying the vibrant pickleball community!

Former college baseball player at Wallace State Hanceville where I learned mental toughness and strength. Most well known for infield skill and swing mechanics. Have been coaching for over 3 years and have never loved it more. Specialty in infield work and swing mechanics. In the first lesson you can expect to hear a lot about how to approach a ground ball and how to alter or correct your swing to make it fit yourself.

I’m Michelle, and I’m a Level 1 PTR certified tennis coach. Since I was 13, I was homeschooled to dedicate myself to tennis, competing in numerous junior tournaments and experiencing both victories and challenges along the way. I’ve been coaching since 2020 and have had the joy of teaching kids as young as 3 years old. I love coaching because it allows me to share the sport that has profoundly positively impacted my life and to make it fun and engaging for young players.
