With over 20 years of coaching experience and a background as a former Division I athlete, I bring high-level insight and proven methods to help players of all levels elevate their tennis game. My coaching focuses on strong fundamentals, tactical awareness, and building from the ground up—starting with footwork and attention to detail. I also emphasize “small victories” and SMART goals to create clear progress while keeping training fun, engaging, and motivating.

Teaching tennis is not just my profession; it's my passion in life. Whether you are new to the sport or looking to sharpen your skills, I'm here to guide you every step of the way. My specialty lies in working with beginners, intermediates and children, where I focus on building a solid foundation and fostering a genuine enjoyment for tennis. Having coached my own sons to success in varsity singles, I currently instruct 30 kids aged 5 to 12, emphasizing patience and fun in every lesson. I started swinging a tennis racquet at the age of 13 hitting a wall and getting fascinated while watching the major tournaments on TV with my dad and instantly falling in love with the sport! Fast forward, had the opportunity to play college level for NCAA II Division and the honor of serving as the team captain. Kevin Du is a New York–based Chinese-American pianist, composer, and bandleader whose work reflects a multicultural upbringing and deep roots in both classical and jazz traditions. His music blends diverse influences with a commitment to lyricism, authenticity, and emotional depth. Kevin graduated with highest honors from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Jazz Composition and Arranging and is currently completing his Master’s at New York University, studying with leading figures in the New York jazz scene. His debut album, Somewhere, a Butterfly Sings, is set for release in May 2026. He also leads his own trio, performing original music at established venues throughout the city.
