I am also a Physics teacher and the Head Coach of Ramapo High School's Boys' Tennis Team (if you are an Ramapo-Indian Hills student, sorry, I can't give you any lessons)! I run six pickleball sessions a week for my local church to raise money, combining my love for the game with a commitment to community service. My journey with paddle sports began as a kid, but it was in 2015, introduced to pickleball by my dad, that I truly found my passion. I fell in love with the game not only for its excitement but also for the positive social aspects it brings. Pickleball has a unique way of building connections and fostering a supportive community, and I strive to share that experience with others. I’m a tennis player and coach currently attending the University of California, Irvine (UCI). I was a 2-year captain of my high school tennis team, earned All-League honors twice, and helped lead my team to two league championships. I’ve worked as a hitting partner at Yonkers Tennis. I’ve also given independent tennis lessons to kids and adults of all ages, and I really enjoy working with kids and helping them build confidence and improve their game. I am 21 years old. I have been playing since I was 7 and have been coaching private tennis lessons for 3 years. I have also been coaching under other coaches simultaneously. I have a very hands on approach while teaching and emphasise footwork and fitness the most. Moreover, if I give you certain exercises to do, I usually do them with you because my motto is: If I can do it, so can you. Lastly, I strive to become a better player and coach every day.
