With over 15 years of experience teaching piano, songwriting, and vocal techniques, I founded the Margarita Shamrakova Music School to nurture the talents of aspiring musicians. From my upbringing in Ukraine to my vibrant life in New York City, my diverse cultural background shapes my unique approach to music education. Drawing from my success in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition and collaborations with industry giants, I offer comprehensive lessons covering everything from song creation to music theory. I have been playing baseball since the age of four, growing up as the son of a former professional baseball player who inspired my passion for the game. Throughout high school, I was a four-year varsity starter and had the opportunity to travel both nationally and internationally to compete at a high level. I am currently continuing my athletic and academic career as a college baseball player at Felician University. This background has taught me discipline, leadership, teamwork, a strong work ethic that I bring to everything I do and I am ready to pass it down to may need my help.
