I started playing at 4 years old, went on to pitch 4 years of college baseball; 2 years at Paris Junior College in Paris, TX, a year at Marshall University in West Virginia, then my senior year at Tarleton State University. After playing, I started coaching at Centennial High School in Burleson, TX. I coached there for 6 years before leaving to explore other career opportunities due to a growing family.
