My name is Garrett Gruell and I am excited to give back to the younger generations of ballplayers. I started a branding name “BackspinU” and my primary goal is to get you to swing connected and produce backspin on the baseball. Backspin makes the ball fly further and more true and is potentially one of the most important things you can do as a hitter! I played Division 1 baseball at UTSA having a career average of .310 and hit 30+ homers during my career!

Coached clients of all ages ranging from 6 to 85 years of age by adapting boxing fundamentals to a range of physical abilities and learning styles. Whether you want to lose weight, stay in shape, workout mental stress, learn how to defend yourself or wanting to learn because you have a love for the sport of boxing I’d love to help you achieve your goals. I also train amateur and intermediate athletes through skill-building, strategic planning, and confidence-focused development.

I have D1 and Futures level competition experience, and more importantly have coached for over 10 years. I've coached several high school varsity teams, USTA adult league teams, and individuals from 8-65 years old of all levels. Ivan Jenkins is a basketball coach with over 15 years of experience working with youth, AAU, and high school athletes. He has served as head coach at Riverpointe Christian Academy and assistant varsity coach at Cane Bay High School. Jenkins has led championship programs and coached nationally ranked AAU teams while focusing on developing players both on and off the court. His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, teamwork, and preparing athletes for success in sports and life.

I have been playing tennis competitively for as long as I can remember. As a junior, I was ranked as high as the top 10 in my age division in the state and the top 100 in the country. I just finished my college career playing Division 1 tennis at the University of the Incarnate Word. Tennis runs in my family, with my parents having played Division 1 tennis—my dad at OU and my mom at USTA.

I coach players of all ages, genders, and skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. My goal is to improve each player's technical skills, soccer IQ, confidence, and overall development. I have over 10 years of competitive club soccer experience, winning multiple state championships and regional championships, as well as competing at the national level in Florida. In high school I was the leading goal scorer for my team and district for 3 years and recieved many college offers.

My ultimate goal is to help the youth become the best basketball players they can be while also teaching real life lessons. I've helped countless players regardless of their skill level, reach their goals through consistent lesson planning and discipline. I'm also very big on mastering the fundamentals and basketball IQ!

I am a bilingual professional with extensive experience in education, communication, and student development. Spanish is one of my strongest professional skills, and throughout my career I have successfully taught students of different ages, backgrounds, and learning levels in both classroom and athletic environments.
