Having honed my craft over three decades, I'm passionate about fostering a love for basketball in every student. My coaching philosophy centers around building a strong foundation of fundamental skills while nurturing each player's individual talents and building lasting relationships with those I coach. I have done most of my coaching at the high school level, for both boys and girls. On the individual training level, I have been working for 13 years with a huge range of players from 3rd grade students all the way up to NBA All-Stars.

Over 40 years of playing experience and over 20 years teaching experience! I have played tennis since I was 6 years old and I first learned how to play tennis from my parents at an early age. I then began taking lessons from tennis instructors who had many years of playing experience. They brought a wealth of knowledge to me as a junior, which in turn helped me learn and excel as a junior player. I was one of the top 10 junior players in Texas and also competed in all national tennis tournaments around the country. It was an incredible experience and I very much hope to be able to pass on some of what I’ve learned to some of my tennis students in the San Antonio area!

As a dedicated tennis coach and former competitive player, this coach brings a wealth of experience and passion to every lesson. Starting tennis at age 10 in India, he quickly rose to the top 50 nationally in the under-16 and under-18 categories. His journey continued in Indiana, where he played NAIA college tennis, competing internationally and advancing to the No. 1 doubles line and No. 4 singles by his freshman year’s end. His coaching career began at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in Texas, where he led over 175 lessons each season. He’s since coached at St. Albans Swim and Tennis Club in Philadelphia, SOL Sports Academy in India, and now Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, Texas. Known for his engaging and energetic approach, he strives to inspire a love for the game and make each player’s journey in tennis both fun and fulfilling.

Golf is one of the most frustrating, demoralizing and addictive things you can do. I have been playing for 28 years. I spend 85% of my time conscious practicing , playing or thinking about golf. Each person learns the game differently and I have learned and taught myself through a variety of methods.

Hi, I'm Coach Henry. Before diving into my background, I want to share my passion for coaching. I am dedicated to helping players refine their game and discover their own love for the sport. As a 4.5 rated Pickleball player with more than a year under my belt, I've built upon my history as a former 5.0 tennis player. I decided to switch to PB for a change of pace and soon made my mark by winning multiple tournaments at the 3.5 level. Our lessons will thoroughly cover both the forehand and backhand techniques, always emphasizing the critical importance of a correct follow-through. "I’d say Henry’s lesson was quite focused and helpful, especially with opportunities for improvement in mind. The emphasis on form and problem areas was pretty clear, and I feel more confident about sharpening those skills. Though I still need to work on a few specifics, it’s encouraging to see steady progress. Still, I might try a couple more lessons to really hone in on those details.
