Hello, I’m Jackie, a native Mandarin teacher in Bethesda, MD. Since 2019 I’ve taught K-12 Chinese, focusing on writing and speaking for students. I hold Chinese teaching and Maryland early childhood certifications. I create customized digital lessons to improve students’ literacy and cultural awareness.

Former collegiate soccer player with 3 years of Division I experience at Jacksonville University (x1 Conference Champion) and 2 years of Division III experience at Catholic University (x2 Conference Champion. I have coached players of all ages through college summer camps and ID camps, helping develop technical skills and game understanding. Additionally, I worked at XL Soccer World in Orlando, FL, creating and leading training plans for players ages 3–16 in both individual and group settings.

I'm a native speaker who's taught Spanish in area schools at every level for over 12 years. I use authentic material and interactive media tools to make the language accessible and fun to my students. I'm an expert at differentiation and will work according to your needs. Let's get started!
