Getting a review after every lesson
Four reviews against thirty. That is the comparison a new student makes between two coaches, and the one with thirty wins even when the one with four is better on court. Curtis W., a pickleball coach in San Diego, went from six reviews to more than forty in a few months, and he never asked a single student face to face. The ask was automated and timed.

Timing matters more than wording
A review request sent a week after the lesson gets ignored. The same request the same evening gets answered, because the student still remembers the drill that finally clicked. CoachGrow can send one text after each completed Coach Site lesson. It opens a page on your own site where the student rates the lesson, is invited to book the next one, can leave a tip, and is asked one favor.
That favor alternates. One lesson it is a Google review, the next it is a referral, so nobody feels worked over. A one or two star rating turns into a private note to you and skips the tip and referral asks entirely. The Google review link stays visible at every rating, because hiding it from unhappy students would break Google review rules, and CoachGrow does not do that.
Switch it on, then set the delay
Post-lesson follow-ups are off by default. On the Follow-ups page, turn them on, choose the send delay, and adjust the tip suggestions and the referral offer for both the referrer and the friend. The feature only appears once your Google review link is saved from Business Listings, so do that first if the toggle is missing.
A detail worth knowing: these texts go only to students who booked through your Coach Site. Marketplace students already get the TeachMe.To review flow inside the app, and CoachGrow never asks them twice.
Catch up on the students you already have
For the backlog, the Reviews page has an Ask students now button. Tick up to ten students who completed a paid lesson, read the message, edit it if it sounds like software, and send. Each student gets it separately with their first name and your Google review link. Anyone asked recently is excluded automatically, and a daily cap stops you from firing off fifty in an afternoon.
Keep the request neutral and send it to everyone you have genuinely coached. Never offer a discount or a free lesson in exchange, and never request Yelp reviews at all. Yelp asks businesses not to solicit them, and it notices.
Put the reviews where they get read
Reviews collected through CoachGrow show on your Coach Site and on your marketplace profile. In the Reviews and testimonials section of the site editor, pin your best one as the featured testimonial so it is the first thing a new visitor sees. The same section has a tab for quotes you add yourself, and both sets display together.
Reply to every review, including the short ones. It takes a minute, and a profile with answered reviews reads as a business that is paying attention.

Common questions
Can I skip a specific student?+−
Yes. Follow-ups can be turned off for an individual student, and the batch request only goes to the students you tick.
What happens with a bad review?+−
A one or two star rating from the follow-up page becomes a private note to you rather than a public review. Review activity from other sources lands in your dashboard first, so you can reach the student directly.
Why can I not send Google review requests yet?+−
The tool needs a live Google Business Profile with a saved review link. Request one from Business Listings, and the button activates once the profile is live.
