Winning back students who went quiet
Warren P. sent eighteen messages one evening. Four people booked that week. He coaches golf in Ohio, and his own accounting was blunt: that is a month of ad spend for free. None of those four had quit him. They finished a lesson, meant to book again, got busy, and two months went by. What they needed was a reason and a link, and a coach who remembered what they were working on.

The math on a lapsed student
A student who has not booked in sixty or more days has roughly a fifteen to twenty percent chance of coming back on their own. With one personal message, that rises to somewhere between forty and sixty percent. The message costs nothing. Replacing that student with a stranger costs an ad, a listing, and usually a first-lesson discount, and the stranger still needs convincing that you are good.
Who goes first
Winbacks builds the list: students with lesson history who have not booked recently, ranked by how many lessons they took and how long it has been. The student who took twelve lessons and lapsed last month comes before the one who took one and lapsed last year. Archived students belong here too. Archiving tidies your roster, and it says nothing about whether the relationship is over.
Two people to skip: anyone who left over a price dispute, who wants a note and not a promotion, and anyone you would not want back on your court. Blasting the whole list is how a good tool gets a bad reputation.
What to write
In Client Growth, the Past students view has a Draft message button for each name. The draft is personal, and the edit that matters is a line about what they were working on. "Your backhand was starting to click in July. If you want to pick it back up, here is my calendar." One next step and one link, with no wall of homework attached.
For a student TeachMe.To brought you, you can add a comeback credit of ten to twenty-five dollars. TeachMe.To funds it and your payout does not change. Your own direct clients get the personal note without a credit for now. Send winback delivers it to their inbox with a push, and the reply comes to your Messages.
Once, and then monthly
Send one message. If there is no answer, let it sit. A second nudge reads as pressure and spends the goodwill you would want for a fresh try next season. Returns are tracked against the campaign, so you can see who came back and what they booked.
Warren’s eighteen messages took an evening, and a pass like that once a month is the rhythm that works. The list refreshes as students lapse. If you would rather not scan it yourself, ask CoachAI who to follow up with. It names the students who are drifting, in order of what they are worth, and links straight to the tool.

Common questions
What counts as lapsed?+−
A student with lesson history who has not booked recently. The list is ordered so the best prospects sit at the top.
Does a comeback credit come out of my pocket?+−
For students TeachMe.To brought you, no. TeachMe.To funds it and your payout is unchanged. Comeback credits are not available for your own direct clients yet, so they get a personal note.
Can I bring in students from before CoachGrow?+−
Yes. Add past students to CoachGrow and they become part of the same list.
