Why one decision beats ten
When every lesson is a separate purchase, every lesson is a moment the student can drift. A package moves that decision to the front and makes it once. You get the season paid up front, you can see what the next few weeks look like, and a student holding six prepaid lessons has no reason to shop around.
Put the package on your booking page
A five or ten lesson pack at a modest discount is the standard shape. Show it right next to the single lesson so the comparison does the selling. An expiry date is optional; a generous one keeps packs moving without feeling like a trap.
Once the pack is on the page, some share of new students will pick it with no conversation at all, which is what happened on Noelle’s page.
Offer it to the regulars who are ready
Start with the students who already book every week or two. They are paying for a package already; they just are not getting the discount. Offer a ten-lesson pack to the weekly regulars, a five-lesson pack to the frequent but irregular ones, and an online course to the student who keeps asking for homework. CoachGrow flags the students most likely to say yes, and you decide who gets an offer.
The message itself
The awkward part is the asking, and a prepared message removes it. Name what they have been working on, name the pack, attach the link, and leave it there. "You have been in every Saturday since June. If you want to lock those in, here is the ten-lesson pack. A bit less per session, and no more texting me to book." If the answer is no, nothing changes and they keep booking the way they always have.
Keep cash students in the same system
A student who pays in cash, Venmo, or Zelle can still hold a pack. Record those lessons against their balance with the amount collected, so their prepaid lessons and history stay accurate in one place.
Then let the balance do the reminding. A nudge when a student is down to their last couple of prepaid lessons gets the renewal before they run out, and a nudge to a prepaid student with nothing scheduled gets them back on the calendar without any discount.
